Suppose you take your car from point A to point B, this can be done in two ways:
Way 1 is to go full throttle until you get to your destination and then hit the brakes full.
Way 2 is gradually departing at a moderate speed and arriving at your destination calmly without much braking.
If you then look at your fuel consumption, it is of course logical that you have used much more fuel with method 1.
The same applies to your heating. Most central heating systems are not adjusted and in balance, so this corresponds to way 1 of the example. This costs unnecessary energy.
Water-side balancing of your central heating system is balancing your central heating system so that it makes optimal use of all components such as the radiators and the central heating boiler. As a result, you use much less energy (around -20% is often feasible) and your home often feels even more comfortable.
In the video below it is also explained again, but a little more technical.
First, the valves of the radiators,
With this you control the water flow that goes through the radiator.
The goal is therefore to let exactly as much water flow through the radiator as is required according to the specifications of the radiator.
A small example:
Water-side balancing usually takes place during the installation of your central heating boiler.
But because this often does not happen during the installation of a central heating boiler or radiator, our installers can do this for you!
• Up to 20% savings
Do you opt for water-side balancing? Then (depending on your gas consumption) you save up to 20% on your energy bill. The heat loss on the radiators is minimal and the efficiency of your central heating boiler is greatly improved.
• Extra comfort
Water-side adjustment also provides extra comfort. The rooms in the house will be up to temperature faster because every radiator heats up in the right way and heats up faster. Another advantage is that you will no longer be bothered by rushing pipes.
• Little effort
Especially when an installer already comes by to replace your central heating boiler and/or thermostat for a smart variant. In that case, it is certainly a small step to opt for water-side balancing. If the valves already have to be replaced during the installation of the thermostat, the step to water-side balancing is completely easy and smart.
• Fast payback
Adjusting the radiators takes little time and is economical to do. This also shortens the payback period. Because you save up to 20% on gas every year, you have earned back the investment in no time. Interested?
